Hello, I'm Alma , founder of Hair Geeks.

I established Hair Geeks in 2012 with a simple goal: to help people find high-quality wigs and hair solutions that restore confidence and help them feel like themselves again.

My connection to hair loss began long before I started the business. Growing up, I watched both my mother and sister live with alopecia and witnessed first-hand the emotional impact hair loss can have on confidence and self-esteem. Their experiences, combined with my own journey as a wig wearer, gave me a deep understanding of the challenges many of our clients face and inspired my passion for helping others.

Unlike many wig retailers, my journey is both professional and personal. As a wig wearer myself, I understand the emotions, concerns, and questions that often come with choosing a wig. I know how important it is to find a style that looks natural, feels comfortable, and helps you feel like yourself again.

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in wig fitting, wig cutting, wig customisation, and wig maintenance. I was privileged to train with the late Trevor Sorbie, whose expertise helped shape my approach to creating natural-looking wigs tailored to each individual's needs, lifestyle, and personal style.

My passion for wigs has only grown stronger throughout the years. What I enjoy most is seeing the transformation that happens when someone finds the right wig. Whether a client is experiencing hair loss due to alopecia, cancer treatment, medical conditions, thinning hair, or simply wants a new look, the boost in confidence can be life-changing.
